You.nique (Family Mental Health Support Service

Outreach support for children and young people showing early mental health concerns

You.nique provides early intervention mental health outreach support for children and young people aged 0–18 who are showing early signs or symptoms of a mental health concern. Delivered by Accoras, the program works alongside children and their families to support wellbeing, strengthen coping skills and promote positive family relationships.

The service operates across South Brisbane and the Gold Coast and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services (DSS).

About the program

You.nique focuses on early, practical mental health support to help address concerns before they escalate. The program supports children and young people in the context of their family, recognising the important role parents and carers play in a child’s wellbeing.

Support is flexible and tailored to each child’s developmental stage and individual needs. Practitioners work collaboratively with families and, where appropriate, with schools and other services already involved in supporting the child.

Who we support

You.nique supports:

  • Children and young people aged 0–18

  • Families living in South Brisbane or the Gold Coast
